Manuel Backert ist seit über 35 Jahren im Musikgeschäft tätig. Er spielt Gitarre, Keyboard, Bass, Schlagzeug und singt in mehreren Bands (u.a. Kievview, Starcover, Planet Partyband, Party-Time, Skala, Feedback, Lazy). Für Firmen wie AlsterRadio arbeitet er auch als freier Tontechniker und mischte schon Größen wie Bobby Kimball (ex Toto Sänger), Gregor Meyle, die Simple Minds, Jessica Martens und Europe.
Seine Kompositionen und Arrangements kann man auch auf vielen Europa Hörspielen wie z. B. Die 3 ???, TKKG und Fünf Freunde hören.
